The Geomedi Medical University was founded in 1998.The founder of Geomedi Medical University is Dr. Mrs. Marina Pirtskhalava. Geomedi Medical University is an accredited higher educational Institution by the Georgian National Educational Accreditation Centre (currently the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement).

Geomedi Medical University provides the students with the high quality education based on the theoretical knowledge and skills and ensures the graduates with competences necessary for their success in their future career. Lots of the former graduates have succeeded in their medical careers working at the best clinics in Georgia and abroad. Students who successfully graduated from the University will be provided the employment at the University Clinic and its departments.

The Main goal of the University is to provide its students with the skills, tools, and knowledge necessary for their future employment. Students who successfully graduated from the University will be provided the employment at the University Clinic and its departments.
The educational programs and student assessment are based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

There are four faculties at the University of undergraduate and postgraduate educational programs:

Medical Doctor’s Program (English)
Degree: The Degree of a Medical Doctor – MD (360 credits)

Dentistry
Degree: Doctor of Dental Medicine (300 credits)
Residential Program in Therapeutic Stomatology

Health Care Economics and management
Degrees: Bachelor of Health Care management (240 credits)
Master of Health Care management (120 credits)

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Degrees: Bachelor of Health Care in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (240 credits)
Master of Health care in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (120 credits)
